Ornaments so easy... even a kid can do them!

And kids did!

Today I volunteered in Addie's class and each student made an ornament for their parents.

The idea is a recycled one from last year, and full instructions have already been posted.

But this year, the kids did it, too. Each child had a wooden angel (by Nicole, 25 cents at AC Moore,) that they painted (with Ranger paints,) then we sprinkled pearl UTEE, and heated them. After, we added some more paint around the edges, a photo of themselves and tied it for hanging!

I loved this technique so much that I made our initials using it, too. The plan is to hang them from a display with pretty ribbon, but for now, they are on my desk, and I like them there.

One more OT for the year! Hope you'll join in!

Great ornament idea for class parties! Mine were a little more basic... painted chipboard + ribbon. Oh well... it's cuter than the store-bought foam ones! :-)

I think that snowflake ornament is my favorite - after all that dabbing and heating...those were amazing! Again I forget my password to leave a comment...Kristin
