I've been included in a way cool group of gals who are participating in "Ornament Thursday" from now until Christmas thanks to my good pal, Margot Potter.
My offering is... well... it's... okay, so it's not really an ornament! I mean, I guess you could hang it on the tree, but it's really not an ornament. My first inclusion and I screw it up! But, hey, make your mark, right?
Anyway, my offering is this little picket fence that I decorated with a chipboard "wreath" (really an asterisk,) and a chipboard frame with a photo of the number of our house on it. A sort of... "Merry Christmas from our house to yours!" sort of deal.
I got the picket fence at AC Moore last year.
Materials are:
Patterned Paper: Creative Imaginations
Chipboard: Maya Road
Paint, Adhesive, Ink: Ranger Industries
Fiber: Lion Brand
Beads: Judikins
Other: fence

I love this, and it's definitely ornamental! Really clever use of that asterisk shape!
This is genius! It's so delicious and filled with wicked good ideas. The colors are yummy and the textures are fabulous. This could totally go on a tree with a wide thick wire threaded on a jump ring from the two outermost points at the top.
You should show your snowy day mirror...it's so seasonally appropos!

It may not technically be an ormanent, but it's a great holiday decoration! Great idea!!
Beautiful! My first thought was "show-off"!!! (said with love!) It really is great. I just got mine posted today, and I'm trying to get caught up.
I might just have to join in on the fun!
xoxo
Oh, Kriss... this show-off hates you! (And you know how I mean that!)
Thanks for all the great compliments everyone! This is fun! Looking forward to the next one!
